Brett & Kate | Kitchener, Ontario

I met Brett and Kate only a few days prior to their wedding, but I could sense instantly that these two obviously adored each other.  When I asked the happy couple if there were any special moments they would like me to photograph, Brett took me aside and said that he was planning to surprise Kate by singing her favourite song as she walked down the aisle.  I don't normally cry at weddings, but after seeing Brett conquer his nerves by singing to his love, I have to admit to shedding a few tears. It was a very intimate and emotional moment and such an honour to document it all.  Thank you, Brett and Kate for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

In Western cultures, the cutting of a multi-layered cake is an important part of the traditional wedding and often marks the first task for the newlyweds.

My First Editorial Wedding Shoot!

After weeks of planning, scouting locations, shopping, emailing, and visiting vendors, I had my first editorial wedding photography shoot this past week-end!  There were a few hiccups (my original groom cancelled last minute, it was tropically humid, and the wee pesky mosquitoes were out in full force); however, if I do say so myself, it was a huge success.

Family Reunion in St. Agatha

I must say, family reunions are so much fun to photograph and Evelyn's family was no exception.  Everyone was relaxed enjoying the beautiful summer weather, kids were running around having fun, the older folk were watching the younger folk, and the dogs kept a close eye on everyone.  Thank you, Evelyn and your family for allowing me into your lives for an afternoon - it was a pleasure : )
