I don't know about you, but I love a good wedding cake. Chocolate, vanilla, lemon, strawberry cream, little cakes, big cakes, cakes made of donuts, macaroons, or chocolate bon bons, you name it, I'm first in line! In Western cultures, the cutting of a multi-layered cake is an important part of the traditional wedding and often marks the first task for the newlyweds.

After weeks of planning, scouting locations, shopping, emailing, and visiting vendors, I had my first editorial wedding photography shoot this past week-end!  There were a few hiccups (my original groom cancelled last minute, it was tropically humid, and the wee pesky mosquitoes were out in full force); however, if I do say so myself, it was a huge success.
